Germany to clash with Sweden

Germany cleaned up France with a 3-0 victory at the ARAG ATP World Team Championship. The host nation will now meet Sweden to decide the Red Group.

Philipp Kohlschreiber recorded an upset over World No.9 Jo Wilfried Tsonga, with a 6-7(3), 6-3, 6-3 victory over the Frenchman. The 25 year-old withstood six aces from Tsonga’s racquet and broke serve on five of 12 opportunities.

Kohlschreiber improves to 17-9 for the season, having earlier beaten American Robby Ginepri 6-7(5), 7-6(4), 6-0 in Germany’s first tie.
