Alona Bondarenko advanced to the final in Warsaw after defeating Britain’s Anne Keothavong 6-2, 7-5.
Bondarenko, who beat former No.1 Maria Sharapova, raced to a 5-1 in the first set.
A rain break gave Keothavong to regroup, but it didn’t last long and even though she put up a fight in the second set, the Ukrainian was too much for her.
In the other semi-final Daniela Hantuchova succumbed to Romanian qualifier Alexandra Dulgheru 6-4 6-7 (2-7) 6-1 in nearly two and a half hours.
