British duo upset Bryans

The wild duo comprising of Colin Fleming and Ken Skupski stunned No.2 seeds Bob and Mike Bryan 6-4, 6-4 at the AEGON Championships in London.

Both pairs had break points during the 61 minute match with the different proving Fleming and Skupski were able to capitalise on three of their break point opportunities opposing to one for the Bryans.

The Bryan brothers, who won here in 2001 before triumphing again in 2004-05, have now lost their opening match in three of their last four tournament appearances. At the start of the season, they were victorious in Sydney before winning Delray Beach and Houston on home soil.

Fleming and Skupski are making their tournament debut, with neither of them having won one tour-level match prior to the AEGON Championships. They played as a team last October, winning three Futures titles and one Jersey Challenger on their four tournament outings. In 2009, they have won one Challenger title and two Futures titles.
