Agnes Szavay won her third WTA title of her career on home soil, defeating Swiss veteran Patty Schnyder in the final of the GDF Suez Grand Prix in Budapest.

The 20 year-old Szavay, came back from a one-set deficit to defeat her more fancied opponent 2-6, 6-4, 6-2.

The No.1 Hungarian, at No.37 in the world, lost in the final of Paris earlier this year, but made up for that with her triumph – her first tour title since claiming the title in Beijing two years ago.
